Longyearbyen

A town called Longyearbyen can also be found on Spitsbergen Island in Norway’s Svalbard archipelago, also known as “The Longyear Town.” There are museums, shops, restaurants, and bars in the small Arctic town, as well as views of the Northern lights. Every year, the sun never rises for four months. There is a wide range of wildlife, glaciers, and mountains to enjoy for visitors. As you walk down the streets of this cute little town, reindeer wander around and there is no name for any of the streets.
